Cash ticket of 1 thaler 1810 of the Duchy of Warsaw with 5-digit numbering: 28843.
Variety with the stamp of the Central Liquidation Commission on the reverse side of the bill, with facsimile signature of the commissioner - J.N. Malachowski.
A natural piece, in a slightly creamy shade of paper, with traces of circulation. Due to the early years of issuance as well as the delicate, almost "tissue" paper used for their printing, to this day the vast majority of thaler banknotes are even preserved in agonal states of preservation, and even these, due to their lack of widespread availability, are eagerly added to collections. In this auction we have an above-average piece, there are a few vertical fractures, as well as microperforations on the left side and a small hole on the right side in the lower margin, typical of thaler banknotes. Despite traces of circulation, both dry stamps are well visible.
A nice natural piece with good presentation.
Literature : Miłczak A12b - type (d) signed by J.N. Małachowski .
