One-sided printing attempt of a 1939 50 zloty bill of the so-called emigrant issue, printing ABNCo New York.
A very rare attempt to print the obverse side, the reverse unprinted - made on paper other than the printing of the banknotes proper, without colored confetti in the paper, with horizontal striations visible against the light. Banknote with obverse printing, full - intaglio of the main drawing and color offset subprinting, only lacking series and numbering overprinting, perforated with two holes.
A good piece, where its state of preservation with such rarity comes down to plan prints. Confirmed by the appropriate PMG grading note. Piece after expert conservation repair involving gluing of tears - as noted in the description on the slab. An item so rare that the PMG registry lists only this one piece graded - hence the MAX NOTA.
Literature : as Miłczak 88 however this is a print attempt.
