(No title page). Möller (1630–?) was a philologist, lawyer, and writer, and the author of popular manuals on the art of letter-writing. *Praxis Epistolica* is a practical manual on epistolary writing, containing rules and numerous examples of correspondence in the style of the time. The work was intended for both students and individuals associated with the court, the chancellery, and the bourgeoisie. It includes templates for private and official letters, petitions, requests, certificates, receipts, replies, as well as correspondence related to family celebrations—weddings, baptisms, and funerals. An extensive system of titles provides the proper forms of address for representatives of various social classes and ranks. A particularly interesting Gdańsk print on the subject of early chancellery culture and customs, illustrating the principles of official and private communication in the 17th century. Rare in this complete, expanded edition. Traces of moisture damage and browning; notes on the title page; a seal; a spine repaired in modern times; scuffs and soiling on the binding. Overall condition: good.
